This one is dedicated to the miss we saw at MudHouse last darkness in a Juniper T-shirt, who might never peruse this: Thanks. You reminded us how a little cold it can be to see a local tie’s T-shirt harvest up once in a while in a sea of obscure logos, Hollister written in sundry fonts and Kings of Leon and Decease Cab for Cutie ligament tees. None of these are bad things–except as luck may have it the Hollister, but that’s a debating for another time–but it warms our it’s-mid-April-and-we’re-still-tarrying-for-friggin’-leap hearts to see association-age youths not only go to limited shows and brace local minstrelsy, but proudly declare the fact with tongues printed across their masculine and female chestal areas. Entrance charges and merch are a tie’s lifeblood, after all, and ligature shirts are free advertising to procreate name recognition. So here’s to vision local ligature T-shirts in public, and here’s to hopefully sight more of them. Trust us, Abercrombie & Fitch is fabrication its money with or without its name on your shirt, but the Junipers of the nature are not.
