Completed Size:
Perfect scarf is 8 to 9 inches broad and approximately 80 inches drawn out.

Materials:
Needles – sizes 11 and 15
Woollen thread – Jaeger Of nature Fleece, 6 skeins. This is a massy yarn with a globe band measure of 10 stitches to 4 inches

Directions:

With bigness 11 needle, shy on 36 stitches
Be in action in k1 p1 ribbing for 10 rows

Vary to size 15 needles
Be in action in k6 p6 ribbing for 8 rows then shrink pattern

Cable Patterning:
Row 1 - open space first 6 st on holder (these will be 6 join stitches) and clutch to front, knit next 6 stitches (even though you’ve been purling them), unite 6 stitches from possessor, #place next 6 st on owner and hold to front, gurgle next 6 st, knit 6 st from proprietor, repeat from #
Row 2, 4, 6, 8 - p 6, k 6, p 6, k 6, p 12
Row 3, 5, 7 - k 12, p6, k6, p6, k6
Row 9 - connect 6, #courtyard next 6 stitches on owner and hold to back, murmur 6 stitches, unite 6 from holder. Make again once from #, connect last 6 stitches.
Row 10, 12, 14, 16 - p 12, k6, p6, k6, p6.
Row 11, 13, 15 - k6, p6, k6, p6, k12
Iterate rows 1-16 until scarf is near 75 inches drawn out and end your cable patterning on either a row 8 or a row 16.

Make different to size 11 needles and act 10 rows of k1 p1 ribbing.

Notes:
The first and last 6 stitches of every row are connect on the front side and purled on the back side, so you’ll have a k12 on the arising or end of each front side row, depending on where in the archetype you are (12 on the not crooked for rows 1-8 and 12 on the left for rows 9-16). Come after the stitching on the cable rows carefully to preserve the correct stitches because sometimes you’ll be changing from purls to knits with a cable gibbet.

I really looked closely at the primeval scarf and only for the first 8 rows does this scarf have the bubble side showing at the left side of the scarf, where you shrink out on size 15s with the k6 p6 ribbing.
